Overlands Privacy Policy

Information We Collect Directly

We do not directly collect, store, transmit, sell, or share personal information from users through Overlands.

The App may store gameplay progress, settings, preferences, unlocked items, and similar game data locally on your device. This local game data is used only to operate the game on your device and is not sent to us.

Advertising and Third-Party Partners

Overlands may display ads from third-party advertising partners, such as Google AdMob or another ad network selected by us. These partners may automatically process information from your device when ads are requested or displayed. Depending on the ad partner and your device settings, this information may include:

• Device information, such as device type, operating system, language, and approximate region.
• Advertising identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID or Apple Identifier for Advertisers, where available and permitted.
• IP address and network information used to deliver ads, estimate general location, prevent fraud, and maintain security.
• App interaction information related to ad delivery, such as ad impressions, clicks, crash signals related to ads, and frequency capping.

We use advertising partners only to support the App through ads. We do not provide advertising partners with your name, email address, account information, contacts, precise GPS location, photos, microphone recordings, camera content, or payment information because the App does not collect those items.

If Overlands is configured for child-directed treatment or is made available to children under 13, ad requests must be configured for child-directed or age-appropriate treatment and ads must be contextual or otherwise compliant with applicable children's privacy and advertising rules. We do not permit behaviorally targeted advertising to children under 13.

Please review the privacy policies of the advertising partners used in the App for more information about their practices. If the App uses Google AdMob, Google's advertising and privacy information is available at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Children's Privacy and COPPA

Overlands is designed not to directly collect personal information from children. The App does not include account creation, user-generated public profiles, chat, social sharing, forms requesting personal details, or other features intended to collect personal information from children.

For users in the United States, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") applies to online services directed to children under 13 and to general-audience services with actual knowledge that they are collecting personal information from children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If Overlands is directed to children or if we have actual knowledge that a user is under 13:

• We do not ask the child to provide personal information.
• We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from the child.
• We do not use personalized or behaviorally targeted advertising for that child.
• We configure supported ad networks for child-directed or age-appropriate treatment where required.
• Any limited persistent identifiers processed by advertising partners should be used only for permitted internal operations, such as contextual advertising, frequency capping, fraud prevention, security, or legal compliance.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that Overlands or one of its service providers has collected personal information from your child, please contact us using the contact information below. We will review the request and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.

App Store and Google Play Disclosures

Store privacy disclosures must match the App's actual behavior and the behavior of any third-party SDKs included in the App.

If Overlands contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, online service, or network feature, the store disclosure may indicate that the App does not collect user data, subject to the store's rules.

If Overlands includes an advertising SDK, the store disclosure should not say that no data is collected unless the ad SDK truly collects no data under the store's definitions. Advertising SDKs commonly process identifiers, IP address, device information, approximate location, or ad interaction data. Those data types may need to be disclosed in Google Play Data Safety and Apple App Privacy sections, even if we do not collect the data directly ourselves.

How Information Is Used

Overlands uses local game data only to run the game, save progress, remember settings, and provide gameplay features.

Advertising partners may use ad-related information to:

• Deliver contextual or age-appropriate ads.
• Limit how often an ad is shown.
• Measure ad performance.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues.
• Comply with applicable laws and platform policies.

Sharing of Information

We do not directly share personal information because we do not directly collect it.

Advertising partners may process information as described in their own privacy policies and in this Privacy Policy. We require advertising partners used in child-directed contexts to support compliance with applicable children's privacy laws and platform policies.

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, or if necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of users, the public, the App, or us.

Data Retention

Overlands stores gameplay data locally on your device until you delete the App, erase the App's data, or reset progress through available in-app or device controls.

We do not maintain our own user database for Overlands. Advertising partners may retain ad-related information according to their own privacy policies, legal obligations, and retention schedules.

Your Choices

You can stop all data processing by the App by uninstalling it from your device.

You may be able to limit ad personalization or reset your advertising identifier through your device settings. The exact controls depend on your platform and operating system version.

If the App offers in-game settings for ads, privacy, or age-appropriate mode, you can use those settings to manage available choices.

Security

Overlands is designed to minimize data collection. Because we do not operate an account system or our own user database for Overlands, we do not store personal account data on our servers. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and third-party advertising partners are responsible for securing the information they process under their own policies and legal obligations.

International Users

Overlands may be available in multiple countries. If third-party advertising partners process information, that information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Advertising partners are responsible for handling information according to applicable privacy laws and their own privacy policies.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where required, provide notice through the App, the store listing, or another appropriate method.
